Gabriela Sans
Gabriela arrived from Minorca, one of the Balearic Islands, in Spain, with a smile lit up by will and determination. Connected to textiles through the production of clothing created from the recycling/reuse of old fabrics, she directed her work in Vale de Gatos to learning how to weave.
A short but intense stay, split between the textile studio and nature outside. Without hesitation, she focused her energy on producing a narrow but long piece of fabric, with a simple and classic pattern, that seemed to connect humans, art and nature, like an umbilical cord.
