Maria returned here out of pure desire, just to renew the previous
experience, like someone repeating a retreat or a trip lasting only a few days, in opposition to the rhythm of everyday life, with the absolute need to leave it.
Here she was to rediscover the pleasure of weaving, of intertwining threads, of experiencing spinning, in its rhythmic and rigorous, circular and stretching movements, in a fight between strength and lightness. How rewarding to see the wool fibers intertwine and then, like magic, make the wool emerge, sometimes thinner, sometimes thicker, as if in a game… and then integrating the outcome in a weft….
